There were so many things about Julie + Sean’s wedding that made me endlessly swoon. In fact, I am still swooning from their gorgeous January wedding at the Berkeley Church on Queen Street East. The Berkley is such an amazing venue – so many nooks and crannies for amazing photos, and a fabulous staff.
When one imagines a ‘beautiful’ wedding, we often consider things like linens, lighting, colour schemes, flowers, and other aesthetic elements. Julie + Sean had all of this – but they had more. So much more. Their wedding had passion, creativity, friendship, joy, whimsy, various musical talents, a bride wrapped in black, rings on strings, a snow machine, and love notes turned into paper aeroplanes. What a way to start the season…
Many kind thanks to the wonderful John Edgar for shooting this wedding with me.
I’m off to wedding #2 of the season this afternoon at the Liberty Grand, and then we get into full swing in April. There are still a few prime dates remaining for 2010. September and May of 2011 are also filling up quickly!
Julie + Sean — you two are beautiful. Thank you for everything.
