This is us.
Our little photo family.
A bunch of weirdos who love each other and love our incredible couples.
We push each other to be better photographers and better humans.
We hope that you will become a part of our family, too.
Tara is the founder and lead photographer here at Tara McMullen Photography. These days you will find Tara in Prince Edward County where she lives during the week with her son, Lachlan. On weekends Tara is back in Toronto, Muskoka, NOTL, and elsewhere to make magic with her incredible couples.
The next time you’re in Prince Edward County be sure to drop by Tara’s place for a glass of wine and a hug (not necessarily in that order).
Barb (AKA ‘Babs’) is our studio manager, associate photographer, and have-er of all the feelings.
When Barb isn’t at work you will find her at Sam James Coffee on Harbord, walking her dog, Nina, having a dance-off at Cold Tea, or exploring Toronto’s most fabulous new restaurant. She might also be hopping on a plane to another gorgeous destination wedding. You just never know with Babs. You can, however, count on her to become your best friend and trusted photographer for the rest of your life.
We like to joke that Hilary is the result of the world’s finest finishing school. This woman is poised, unflappable, and can balance a stack of books on her head while drinking tea with her pinky up. Hilary is the woman behind all of our gorgeous album designs, and is Barb’s right-hand gal at weddings and in the studio. When she’s not teaching us about manners and etiquette, you can find Hilary curled up with a good book and a good drink, listening to vintage records, or watching soccer like true renaissance woman she is.
Aoife (pronounced ‘E-fah’) is our resident editor, Irish ex-pat, and Tara’s assistant photographer. When she’s not hustling at weddings you will find Aoife spending time with her partner, Emily, while they tour around Toronto. Aoife is also an incredibly talented fashion photographer.
Jason is the newest addition to our team. You will often find him scrolling through last weekend’s wedding, cracking wildly inappropriate jokes, or making LCBO runs when we need more champagne. In his off time, Jason can be found behind the camera making beautiful images of food and creating other editorial content.
