Here’s a little fact for ya ::
I have never spent a single penny on advertising. Ever.
The absolute vast majority of couples find their way to me through referrals from their friends, family members, or some other strange 6-degrees of separation connection.
And I love it that way.
It means that so many of the weddings I shoot end up feeling like reunions. I get to check in with past couples — sometimes with their new little ones in tow!
It also means that I become a part of an amazing network of beautiful-hearted people who trust me, and know that I will love them to the moon and back.
Margaret and Scott are one of those special couples who I love a million times. They sent Monica and Drew my way for their incredible surprise wedding last fall. Monica and Drew have since sent Heather and Hunter along for their wedding (happening this Friday!).
These folks make up an incredible network of Very Good People. People who I am happy to call clients. People who I am delighted to call friends.
Margaret and Scott’s day was a bit of an epic emotional journey. Margaret’s 5 brothers and sister form a pretty magical little unit (including some incredible musical talent). Scott’s family beamed all day long. Everyone cried. A lot.
This first image is a photograph of a headline from the Globe on Margaret and Scott’s wedding day.
I think this sums it up pretty nicely.
My favourite family photo out-take EVER. EVER EVER EVER.
Margaret & Scott. Thank you for inviting me into your inner circle. You, your families, and your friends are truly incredible.
